Dr. Paresh Patel
Dr. Paresh Patel, a graduate of UNC-CH School of Dentistry, has been practicing since 1996. Dr. Patel comments that what he most enjoys in his practice is the ability to watch the emotional, physical and mental transformation that his patients experience with their new smile. ‘Whether it’s a new set of snap in dentures or a full set of fixed crowns on mini dental implants, its wonderful to share the excitement of a new smile. It’s simply amazing how confident people become being able to eat and enjoy the things they like to do again.
Dr. Patel has a passion for keeping up with the changing technology and materials in dentistry. Dr. Patel comments, ‘Just a few years ago I would have never thought that I could extract a broken down set of teeth, place 4 to 8 mini dental implants and immediately place a mini dental implant retained denture for my patients. Now I think it would be a crime not to have this kind of care for our aging population.’ We recently added a 3 dimensional scanner to our Lenoir Office. With this we can see your jaw bone in a real 3 dimensional view. This technology allows us to plan cases that otherwise would be very difficult.
Dr. Paresh B Patel is also a Master in the International Academy of Mini Dental Implants. He has earned this title by placing and restoring over 1,500 mini dental implants. Dr. Patel maintains membership in most every major dental organization including the American Dental Association, The North Carolina Dental Society, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, as well as the Iredell County Dental Society in Mooresville NC.
